A graduate of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne with a passion for fermentation, Kamran Marwah (founder) obtained an apprenticeship in 2018 with Frank Golbeck(Golden Coast Mead), pioneer of the mead renaissance in Southern California.
Frank quickly became an excellent friend and mentor, and in 2020 Kamran returned to Switzerland with an in-depth knowledge of modern mead production methods.
In 2021, BEEOMETRY was founded in Geneva to supply Switzerland with the precious nectar of the Gods.
Gentle Beekeeping is a method that has been developed over 40 years of research and practice. This method was born of a desire to better understand bees, our relationship with them, and the implications of our interactions. At BEEoMETRY we currently have 40 beehives scattered around Geneva, and we’re working to increase their number every year. Working from bee to bottle, we’re proud to be able to offer the people of Geneva the chance to drink their own flowers! At the same time, we’re adding a new jewel to the canton’s gastronomic heritage: Hydromel Genevois®.
Biometry is the quantitative study of nature.
Approximately one third of our food system depends on the pollination work carried out by bees. It doesn’t take long to realize the indispensable role they play, and the fragile balance they maintain. BEEoMETRY has been chosen to represent this balance, which we only enjoy thanks to the existence of bees.
